Roots

In my artistic research the themes of identity and memory often recur, but the goal is almost always to search for an abstract and suspended reality, such as “frozen”, the representation of a state of mind becomes more important than a real state of daily life. “Roots” arises precisely from the need to combine these elements in a single work, but interfacing them with nature, the latter theme also recurring in my research. The landscape and nature become a kind of glue that allows focusing of the relationship between the territory and the individual, this reflects an ambiguity and one disorientation with which we are called to interface every day.
